Our commitment
Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes many forms, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to ensuring it does not take place anywhere in our business or in our supply chains.
Our business
Faversham Solutions provides umbrella and managed payroll services to contractors, agencies and businesses across the UK. Because our work involves the employment and payment of workers, we recognise the importance of ensuring that people are treated fairly, paid correctly and protected from exploitation.
Our supply chains
Our supply chains include the agencies and businesses we work with, and the third-party providers who support our operations, such as software, IT, payment and professional service providers. We expect all those we work with to share our commitment to acting ethically and lawfully.
Our policies
We operate in a way that reflects our commitment to acting ethically and protecting the people connected to our business. This includes:
- Paying workers correctly, on time and through fully compliant PAYE structures.
- Being transparent about deductions and pay, so that workers understand exactly how they are paid.
- Expecting the partners and suppliers we work with to comply with all applicable laws, including those relating to employment and human rights.
Due diligence and risk
We take steps to understand and reduce the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains. This includes considering the conduct of the organisations and providers we choose to work with, and being alert to signs of exploitation or unfair treatment in our dealings with contractors, agencies and suppliers.
Where we identify a concern, we will take appropriate action, which may include raising the matter directly, ending a relationship, or reporting the concern to the relevant authorities.
Awareness
We seek to make those working within our business aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, so that they can help identify and raise any concerns. We encourage anyone who suspects modern slavery in connection with our business to report it to us.
Review
We keep this statement and our approach under review, and we will update this statement from time to time to reflect our ongoing commitment to tackling modern slavery. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
